Overview: At their Chennai location, Logitech is seeking an experienced Bluetooth Firmware Engineer. The design of firmware for Bluetooth headset products falls under the purview of this position. Strong proficiency with Bluetooth Low Energy and Classic, embedded C, assembly language, and hardware design are required for this work.

The following are all the specifics of this position:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and include Bluetooth product firmware (usually from Qualcomm and Airoha).
  • Debugging at the system level to resolve Bluetooth problems and enhance connectivity with different devices
  • Create and create firmware and scripts to assess the reliability of the product during the design process and to confirm the product during manufacturing.
  • Ascertain the firmware's optimal quality, performance, and security.
  • Engage in active participation in cross-functional teams to address problems with the current products and build new devices.
  • Analyze non-conformances in the product and suggest design changes
  • Throughout the development process, keep correct records to ensure that you are adhering to company and/or governmental requirements and regulations.

Important Requirements:

You must bring the following abilities and dispositions to our team in order to be considered:
  • knowledgeable with creating embedded C programs; familiar with writing code for Bluetooth embedded systems
  • competent with debugging tools and BT sniffers
  • familiarity with PTS and Bluetooth Certification processes
  • familiarity and expertise with various processors
  • familiarity with a range of control and communication protocols, such as USB, SPI, I2C, I2S, and UART
  • the capacity to read and comprehend hardware and circuits
  • Strong documentation abilities Capable of working with all organizational levels in communication
Preferred skills:

Experience with Bluetooth EDR and LE stack
Experience with Qualcomm and Airoha chipsets and development tools
Experience with real-time operating systems
Experience with real-time signal processing and hardware
Experience with low power wireless devices
Software development experience in an embedded environment for audio devices, Active Noise Cancelling, PEQ

Education Requirement:

 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of training and work experience
