ABSTRACT

People are looking forward to innovations that make transactions easier and faster because of how quickly technology is developing. The food industry would benefit from a search for methods that would enhance consumer happiness and income by improving business operations. The study focuses on how the use of restaurant information systems (RIS) has improved business processes in casual dining restaurants in the Philippines. Interviews and observations were used to analyze the current business processes. Five (5) categories were used in SERVPERF questionnaires to assess the degree of customer satisfaction: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings indicate that there is room for improvement in terms of client satisfaction with the ordering, billing, and payment procedures. The researchers suggested a web-based solution with these features to For mobile users, Quick Response (QR) code capability is user-friendly. A prototype was created, and the service times of the suggested and existing processes were compared.
