About the SECI:
Founded to aid in the execution of the National Solar Mission (NSM), the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) is a subsidiary of the Indian government's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. In the field of solar energy, it is the only Central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). The business will now be known as Renewable Energy Corporation of India (RECI) and its scope has been expanded to include the whole renewable energy sector.
Along with a plethora of other specialized schemes like defense scheme, solar canals, and Indo-Pak border scheme, the company is in charge of implementing a number of government schemes. The major ones are the VGF schemes for large-scale grid-connected projects under NSM, solar park scheme, and grid-connected solar rooftop scheme.
Furthermore, SECI has dabbled in turnkey solar project development for multiple PSUs. Additionally, the company holds a license for power trading and operates in this market by trading solar power generated by projects established under its initiatives.
About the Internship at SECI :
Students will get the chance to learn about the Renewable Energy industry and SECI as an employer through the internship program, which will aid in their assessment of potential career paths.
The program will be set up as brief, supervised internships with time constraints that are targeted at particular activities or projects.
The internship should be fruitful and advantageous to both the Corporation and the intern. It is not a guarantee of employment with the Corporation, nor is it a job.
Goal :
Through the internship program, students will be able to assess potential career options and obtain an awareness of SECI as an employer and the Renewable industry. The program will consist of supervised, short-term, organized internships that are frequently targeted at specific tasks or projects with predetermined deadlines. The intern and the company should both benefit from the labor, which should have purpose. It isn't a job, nor is there any guarantee of one within the Corporation.
Qualifications :
Students conducting research, students seeking graduate and postgraduate degrees in engineering, Ph.D. candidates in the field of renewable energy, and CACS/ICWAs/CMAMs/BAs in HR/Finance/IT/C from accredited universities and institutions in India and outside are all eligible to apply for the internship.
Objective :
The "Interns" will get hands-on experience in various professional fields and contribute to the renewable energy sector by generating data analysis and inputs. They will also learn about the implementation of Government of India schemes in Renewable Energy and Solar-Wind Hybrids, Floating Solar, Solar Manufacturing and Battery Energy Storage Systems, Solar parks, development, Solar Rooftop projects, and Off-grid solar applications.
Advantages & Benefits
The interns will get the chance to learn about the execution of renewable energy initiatives run by the Government of India, such as battery energy storage systems, floating solar, solar manufacturing, and solar-wind hybrids.
Time Frame :
- There will be payment for the internship for a
- Students pursuing engineering or M-Tech degrees: Minimum internship duration is three months; maximum internship duration is six months.
- CA/CS/ICWA/CMA: from six months to three years
- Minimum 07 weeks to 06 months for MBA students.
- Individuals who have either finished the course or left in the middle will not be qualified.
certificate :
The HR department will provide the intern with a certificate of completion once they have received notification from the Project Guide/Mentor regarding the submission of the Project Report. after verifying the work supervision information and the attendance record provided by the department heads.
The HR Department is responsible for keeping an exhaustive file, or MIS, of every intern who has worked as an intern for the company.
Stipend :
An amount of Rs 5000/- shall be paid as a stipend to all Engineering Graduates & Post Graduate Degrees / Ph. D in Renewable Energy Sector / CA/CS /ICWA/CMA/MBA in HR/ Finance/ IT/CC.
Amount of Rs 8000/- per month for internship less than 06 months.
An amount of Rs 12,000/- per month for an internship of 06 months to 03 years.
