Infrastructure Management (SIM) program. This initiative allows diploma holders
to earn a B. Tech degree in Information Systems from a top-tier Indian
university while gaining hands-on experience as a full-time employee at Wipro.
Here’s everything you need to know about the program’s benefits, eligibility,
and recruitment process.
- Earn a B. Tech Degree: Wipro’s SIM program offers
diploma holders the opportunity to earn a B. Tech degree in Information
Systems from a university with Institute of Eminence (IoE) status.
- Work Experience: Participants will gain
full-time employment at Wipro while pursuing their degree, combining
academic knowledge with practical skills.
- Financial Support: The B. Tech degree will be
fully sponsored by Wipro, making it a financially accessible opportunity.
The SIM
program provides a monthly stipend during the course of study, ensuring
financial stability while you learn and work:
- First-year: INR 12,400 per
month
- Second-year: INR 15,488 per
month
- Third-year: INR 17,553 per
month
- Fourth-year: INR 19,618 per month
To
qualify for the Wipro SIM program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Candidates must have
passed the 10th and 12th standards and hold a diploma with at least 50% in
the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Electronics
- Telecommunications
- Electrical and Electronics
Engineering
- Year of Passing: 2023, 2024, 2025.
- Additional Requirements:
- No more than a 3-year
education gap between 10th and the start of the diploma.
- Core Mathematics must be
studied during the diploma course (Business Maths and Applied Maths are
not considered).
- Candidates can have one
backlog, but it must be cleared by the 6th semester.
The
recruitment process for the SIM program involves several rounds:
- Online Assessment (80 minutes)
- Verbal (20 mins, 20
questions)
- Analytical (20 mins, 20
questions)
- Quantitative (20 mins, 20
questions)
- Written Communication Test
(20 mins)
- Business Discussion: Candidates who clear the
online assessment move to the next round for a more in-depth business
discussion.
- HR Discussion: Following the business
discussion, candidates meet with HR for the final interview.
- Pre-Skilling Training: Selected candidates will
undergo pre-skilling training to prepare for their role at Wipro.
Participants
in the SIM program must sign a 48-month service agreement. If a candidate
chooses to leave the company before completing the 48 months, they are required
to pay back the joining bonus on a pro-rata basis.
