Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee
Application Support Engineer, you will:
- Manage Support Tickets: Monitor and resolve Level
1 (L1) support tickets in a timely manner.
- Client Communication: Respond to client emails,
provide guidance, and resolve straightforward technical issues.
- Issue Resolution: Use your technical skills
to troubleshoot and resolve issues, or escalate complex problems to the
internal Level 2 (L2) support team.
- Information Gathering: Collect relevant details
from clients to assist in accurate diagnosis and resolution of issues.
- Documentation: Update ticket progress
notes and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Work in Shifts: Be available for
rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage for global clients.
Required Skills and Experience
- Office 365 Support: Freshers are preferred to
have some familiarity with Office 365. If you have 1-3 years of
experience, you should have hands-on experience in managing email
accounts, resetting passwords, and configuring Outlook.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Barracuda
firewalls and Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) will be
advantageous, particularly for candidates with 1-3 years of experience.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal
communication skills are essential.
- Team Coordination: The ability to work
collaboratively in a team environment is crucial.
